If you’re a fan of adventure games with beautiful art style that makes the game look like a painting that came to life, then this might be the game for you. Having released in 2024, the game is has now experienced a permanent price drop that now under $10 USD.
Last Time I Saw You is a beautiful adventure game set in 80s idyllic Japan, follow the journey of young Ayumi as he learns about life. I didn’t have too much expectation going into the game, as this is not my favourite genre to spend time on but the art style quickly grabbed me.
As you play the game you experience the coming of age story of Ayumi, as he learns about love, friendship and in the process lift the curse that’s befallen his town.
It’s easy to miss a game like this, it’s not one filled with viral moments and filling your TikTok recommendations, but it’s one of those hidden gems that really pulled me in.
